Paris, France – April 2023 – Plantibodies is proud to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious French Tech Seed label through PSL University, a recognition of its innovative deeptech platform for plant produced biologics.
This label unlocks 300,000€ in convertible notes from Bpifrance, providing critical support to advance Plantibodies’ R&D activities and strengthen its position as a pioneer in plant-based therapeutic bioproduction.
The French Tech Seed program, launched by Bpifrance as part of the “Plan Deeptech”, aims to support high-potential deeptech startups emerging from public research and technology transfer. The label is granted by a network of accredited consortiums, with PSL University acting as the operator for Plantibodies.

With this support, Plantibodies will continue developing its proprietary platform, combining plant-based production with proprietary encapsulation to deliver monoclonal antibodies and other biologics orally, opening new therapeutic opportunities in IBD, colorectal cancer, and infectious diseases.
